Sumario: Everything you need to know about Credits, top-ups, limits and emails.

Credits represent the number of emails you can send through the app. Each credit allows you to reach a potential customer with personalized and relevant content. This means the more credits you have, the more opportunities you have to connect with your subscribers, promote your products, and build customer loyalty 😎.

What are Credits and where can I find them?

In the NotificationButton app, we have the ability to send emails to our subscribers (if you haven’t seen how to do this yet, you can check out the following article)*******.

To be able to send emails you will need credits, 1 credit = 1 email.

The number of available credits will depend on the plan you’ve chosen. Each plan has a maximum subscriber limit, meaning that if your plan is for 5,000 subscribers, you’ll have 10,000 credits, and so on.

You can find your credits in several places within our app:

Upper header

Abandoned cart recovery setup

Send Notification setup

Important to keep in mind:

  • Credits obtained through the plans are valid for 30 days 🗓️. For example, if you sign up for a plan on January 10th, the credits will expire on February 10th. The expiration date depends on the date the plan was purchased.
  • Credits do not roll over from one month to the next, meaning any unused credits within the 30-day period will be lost and not transferred to the following month. To get the most out of your plan, we recommend using all your available credits within the current month.👌
  • If you need more credits, we suggest upgrading to a plan with a higher subscriber limit.

What happens if I run out of Credits?

If you frequently run out of credits, consider upgrading your plan or making a temporary top-up.

Running out of credits can significantly impact the performance of your campaigns and your return on advertising investment.

📌 You won’t be able to send:

  • Abandoned cart messages
  • Welcome messages
  • Brand reminders
  • Recommendations, reviews, and engagement messages
  • AI-generated messages

Make sure to always have enough credits to keep your entire system running smoothly. 🛠

Credits top-up

Another option is to request a credit top-up by sending a message to support. Credit top-ups come with an extra cost, so it’s recommended to upgrade your plan if you need more credits regularly.

– If you only need a temporary top-up, keep in mind that these credits don’t expire, so you can use them whenever you need. 🎈


– If your subscriber count is already close to the plan’s limits and you need frequent top-ups, it’s more cost-effective to choose a higher plan.
